Today I found out that my references have been contacted for the state job. The PC helpdesk job I'm getting interviewed for is tomorrow... er, I mean THIS morning at 9, and I have extremely high hopes for it. I spent all evening putting together a portfolio, filled with my certificates, a letter of recommendation, e-mail correspondence with other techs, my past in web design ("Can't Get Enough Futurama", etc...) and other crap.
I so want to get this job just to open up more doors and take out my retirement money. It would solve a lot. Hell I could help Char out, get an Xbox 360 AND a make a down payment on a house! But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Oh and Liss... I said Texas or Georgia because those are the closest areas with the most jobs in the I/T field. Nothing in Louisiana...
